Kokomo Civic Theatre and the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra are joining together to present Sondheim on Sondheim – Symphonic Version, an intimate portrait of the famed songwriter in his own words… and music. Newly revised for symphony orchestras, audiences get an inside look at the personal life and artistic process of famed composer, Stephen Sondheim through specially-created video narration by Sondheim himself. Sondheim on Sondheim features over 30 songs from musicals such as West Side Story, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Merrily We Roll Along, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Into the Woods, Company, and Sunday in the Park with George. Note: Because this is a special presentation with the Symphony and KCT vocalists, there will only be 2 performances, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. KCT Friday night season ticket holders will receive tickets for Saturday night.
